Journal: Choose classroom/school rules and explain how Thomas Hobbes would interpret these rules.
In class: Today we finished up our discussion on the Enlightenment Philosophers theories of government; specifically STATE OF NATURE & THE SOCIAL CONTRACT. These are key components for each philosopher, however their interpretations vary significantly! You finished up the green pages in your packet (11-12) including the reflection.
Make sure you understand each Philosophers stance on state of nature & the social contract!
Homework: If you weren't able to finish the reflection page in your packet complete it by Friday! Also I really encourage you to do a quick review each night (5-10 min) on Machiavelli, Hobbes, Locke, Rousseau, Montesquieu.
